One-Click Data Extraction for Car Dealership Audits

We built a simple browser extension that lets consultants extract vehicle data from dealership systems and government sites in one click. A 6-hour manual process became a 1-hour workflow, and monthly costs dropped from € 1,900 to € 150.
The Challenge
The client’s consultants collected data on thousands of vehicles manually during on-site dealership audits. They copied information by hand from government sites and internal back-office systems. It was slow, error-prone, and consumed time that should have gone to actual consulting work.
The client advises car dealerships across France. Part of each engagement involves collecting detailed data on vehicles sold, pulled from government registration sites and dealership back-office systems. Consultants did this by hand: searching, copying, pasting, thousands of times per audit. A single data collection session took around 6 hours. The work was pure overhead, repetitive, and had been done this way since the company started.
Our Approach
We developed a lightweight browser extension that integrates directly into the consultant’s workflow. One click extracts and stores the relevant vehicle data from whatever site they’re working in. A proof of concept was delivered in 18 weeks, followed by parallel add-ons for additional data sources in 3 weeks.
